She is certified as an Orff-Schulwerk Music Instructor completing levels one, two and three through the University of the Arts. Professional affiliations include Past-President of the Reading Music Teachers Association and is currently serving as first vice-president, membership in the Music Teachers Association, Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association and is a member at large of the Philadelphia Area Orff Associations. Ongoing education includes attendance at the professional development workshops and graduate course work in music education. For the past 23 years, Theresa has operated her own private piano studio and has 29 years of experience as a classroom teacher.
